Dr. Sahra Kanji, although a native Calgarian, pursued her post-secondary education at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario after which she attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Toronto, where she graduated with Distinction. She is a strong advocate of life-long education to continue to provide state of the art techniques and materials to improve patient comfort and treatment longevity. Dr. Kanji is proficient in both implant placement and restoration and thoroughly enjoys giving patients the smile they’ve always dreamed of through a combination of teeth whitening, crowns, veneers, gum contouring, Invisalign, neuromodulator treatment (Botox) and/or dental implants. Dr Kanji uses neuromodulator such as Botox and Dysport for both cosmetic and therapeutic purposes including migraine therapy.
When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Kanji is enjoying her time with her husband and 2 young boys. She enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures and had taken her children on several international trips before the pandemic. She also volunteers for health promotion initiatives in the community and has taken on various leadership positions.
Dr. Kanji looks forward to meeting you and your families!
At Toothworks Calgary, we have some wonderful news to share with our patients and community!
After many wonderful years with our practice, Dr. Sahra Kanji will be taking a two-year sabbatical leave beginning this Summer 2026. Dr. Kanji and her family are embarking on a new adventure as they move overseas. While we will certainly miss her warm presence and exceptional care, we are thrilled for this new chapter in her life and wish her and her family all the very best during their travels.
