I have worked in the dental profession for 20+ years and truly love my career. Living in Edmonton, I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at NAIT in 2004. In 2007, I returned back to school and graduated from SAIT in 2008 from The Preventative Dentistry Program. After living in Edmonton for 12 years our family relocated to Calgary in 2011. In 2014, I joined Toothworks Calgary as an Office Administrator and have since moved on to becoming the Office Manager. My many years of experience on both the clinical side as well as the administration side of dentistry allow me to make sure you have a positive and fun experience from start to finish. Outside of Toothworks I am happily married with three beautiful girls. We have a passion for travelling all over the world, camping, mountain biking and skiing. We love to enjoy the outdoors in every season of the year! In my spare solo time, you will find me working out in my home gym to stay active and healthy. I also love to read a good book and play fun card/board games.

Jennifer Winfield

Jennifer Winfield

Hello there! I’m Jenny, and I bring to the table two decades of experience in the fascinating world of dentistry. My journey began in the hands-on role of a dental assistant, but over time, I’ve discovered a passion for the hustle and bustle of office administration. I hail from the picturesque Vancouver Island and embarked on an adventure to Calgary with my daughter, the two of us charting a fresh course together. It was back in 2003 that I enrolled in the dental assisting program at Columbia College, a step that set the course for my vibrant career. These days, I find myself in the new chapter of life known as the “empty nester” phase, sharing my space with two lovable dogs and my wonderful partner. Outside of my professional life, I’m an avid enthusiast of the great outdoors and creative arts. You’ll often find me with my hands in the soil, tending to my garden, shaping a new pottery piece, crafting something special, or out camping under the stars. And whenever the opportunity arises, I seize it to travel and explore new horizons.

I am from Alberta and have worked as a Dental Receptionist since 2008. I am thrilled to be back in Calgary after spending time on the West and East coasts — enough saltwater and earthquakes and hurricanes already! Now I am very happy to be on solid ground so close to the Rockies. When I am not working happily at Toothworks Calgary, I cater to my 2 cats’ every whim along with my dogs. Plus, 2 hours weekly, I walk an adorable “Boston Bulldog” for a busy Calgary family. I really enjoy getting to know our patients, as well as answering any questions and booking what they need. I also look forward to the days when we can safely greet each other with unmasked smiles!!

I am a registered dental hygienist. I grew up in Calgary, but traded in the prairies for the West Coast in 2016 to pursue dental hygiene. I completed my Bachelors in Dental Science (DH) in 2020 at UBC and quickly found my interests in research and providing care to underserved populations were piqued, inspiring me to obtain my Masters in Craniofacial Sciences. Connecting with patients brings me immense joy, and I am committed to providing exceptional care and contributing as a supportive member in oral health through continuous learning. I recently moved back and have found Calgary has changed so much! During my spare time you can find me being a tourist exploring the city & mountains, and trying all the new restaurants.
