Dr. Tawar

Dr. Chetna Tawar, DMD, brings decades of experience and a genuinely caring approach to dentistry. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (1997), she began her career in Calgary, where she practiced for several years before relocating to Ontario in 2004. Since then, she has been a dedicated member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, committed to providing high-quality care to her patients. Dr. Tawar has continually advanced her skills with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, Invisalign treatment, and CEREC CAD/CAM technology. She is passionate about staying current with modern techniques that improve both the function and appearance of her patients’ smiles.

Known for her calm and compassionate demeanor, Dr. Tawar believes in delivering optimal dental care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Patients consistently appreciate her gentle approach and the time she takes to ensure they feel at ease and well- informed throughout their treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Tawar is a proud mother of four children, including a set of triplets. This has helped shape her patient, understanding, and family-oriented perspective on care. Now that her children are off at university and beginning their own journeys, she is excited to be returning to Calgary, a place that has always felt like home. She looks forward to reconnecting with family and old friends, and on her days off, enjoys working out, walking, and hiking with her dog.
