I was born and raised in South Korea, and moved to Canada when I was a middle school student to start a new chapter of my life. I went to W.R. Myers High School in Taber and obtained numerous awards and scholarships for academic achievements and volunteer works. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry (Honours Thesis with Distinction) at the University of Lethbridge. During my undergraduate program, I have done numerous types of research ranging from computational chemistry to microbiology. I further expanded my education in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Alberta. I received research scholarships in Pediatric Dentistry and several outstanding achievement awards during my dental training. I love doing general dentistry such as restorative, root canal therapy, extraction, diagnosis and pediatric dental work. I am motivated to improve people’s smiles, confidence, and esthetics. I am an active member of the Alberta Dental Association & College, and Canadian Dental Association. I put my dedication and heart into offering professional and compassionate dental care to patients. My primary goal is to focus on patient-centered care and achieving great quality of dentistry. When I am not practicing my passion of dentistry, I spend most of my time with my lovely family and friends.
